The short version: read, quote and link to anything here, with attribution. Do not republish entries as your own. What is published is reference material, not advice for your situation.

Who you are dealing with

Brave New Hive is published by Brave New and trades as Brave New Media. The company behind it is Sarron Creative Media SRL, registered in Romania (fiscal code 38681961), Bucharest, Sector 2, Romania.

1. Scope

These terms cover your use of this website and the entries published on it. They do not govern any work Brave New Media does for clients; that runs under its own agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.

2. Using what is published here

You may read, quote and link to any entry. Quoting with attribution and a link to the entry is welcome and needs no permission. You may not republish whole entries, or the collection, as your own, on any medium, including in a dataset offered as a product.

Machine readers are welcome on the same terms. The site publishes an llms.txt that describes it for AI systems, and expects attribution and a link when an entry is used as a source.

3. What the entries are and are not

The entries are reference material on marketing: definitions, history, readings, research and the odd film and song. Each is dated, and where it draws on a source, the source is named. They are not advice for your specific situation, and they are not legal, financial or investment advice. Figures, cases and studies are attributed to their sources; we take care to represent them accurately, but we do not warrant the accuracy of third-party research.

4. The Journal by email

The subscribe box signs you up to the Brave New Journal, sent by email every Tuesday. Subscribing is free and you can leave at any time using the link in any issue. We send the Journal and nothing else to that address, and we do not sell, rent or share the list. How the address is handled is set out in the privacy and cookie policy.

5. Availability and changes to content

We try to keep the site up but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Entries are revised as the subject moves; a revision shows its date on the entry. We may change or remove content at any time.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

7. Links out

Entries name sources and may link to them and to brave-new.com. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content.

8. Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy and cookie policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.

10. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by Romanian law. The courts of Bucharest, Romania have jurisdiction.
